Fonality’s server supports an Asterisk-based phone system that allows you to use your standard analog and cordless telephones to make calls through your computer and the Internet. To do so you need an analog phone card which supports up to four analog phone lines and an analog phone port for each analog or cordless telephone you wish to add to your PBXtra™ server.
Our Asterisk-based phone system also supports the following IP telephones: Polycom IP 501, Polycom IP 601, Polycom IP 4000,Cisco 7960, Aastra 9112i, Aastra 9133i and the Aastra 480iCT. Our PBX system also supports a “message waiting” indicator for IP telephones and stutter-tone for analog telephones to indicate voicemail messages.
